Our Phytopod™-4 is roughly equal to a 4' x 5' garden patch and offers nearly 5 times the space of its footprint! It is 48" in height, with an 18" diameter and makes the perfect vegetable growing Phytopod™. Plant all kinds of vegetables and herbs-- year-round in some places. The internal proprietary watering system ensures even moisture throughout the Phytopod™-4 so you can grow plants all over its surface! It can be used in two modes for automated operation.

Our deluxe model Phytopod™-3, is distinguished by decorative bamboo siding. In tune with our commitment to a natural look and the use of natural materials, it makes an attractive addition to your balcony or patio. Phytopod™-3 Kits include wire mesh & bamboo frame, internal watering system, creative re-use burlap bag and assembly instructions. Potting mix and plants are not included.

You can decorate your Phytopod with a detachable fabric top. Choose from a variety of colors to make your Phytopod look like a natural extension to your kitchen garden or patio decor.  

We recommend that you place your Phytopod™ on a wheeled or carousel platform of about 21-24 inches diameter for convenient mobility, and for turning it to give even sunlight to the plants on all sides. 

The bag used in our standard Phytopods is sewn using carefully selected burlap coffee bean sacks from all over the world. They are re-engineered to provide a perfect shape and porosity for supporting plants in vertical growth. Bags come in sizes for Phytopod-2, -3, or -4.
